Our focus is building equipment to the specifications of the customer. We adopt our customers standards and understand that our standards mean nothing if they are not up to yours. We are well known for working along side the customer, by combining experiences to manufacture systems designed to match your needs. Each machine is built with quality to increase productivity, decrease waste & rejections, exceed safety requirements, and provide an ergonomic work environment for all operators.

Innovation

From the time Erdman created the original (but often copied) Hand Assist Glazer we have been a leader in innovation. The Erdman Design department works closely with our R&D group to stay on the leading edge. We have integrated a number of design programs to support all forms of customer communications and machine specifications, including but not limited to all previous AutoCAD applications and AutoCAD Mechanical 2006, Mechanical Desktop and Inventor Version 10 (as shown).
The EAC Controls department researches and utilizes the most advanced technology and stays current on the latest innovations. We focus to deliver a smooth, accurate process every time.

Service

One of the many reasons why EAC is generating a large group of repeat customers is because our service doesn’t end with the shipment of your machine. Our service department is dedicated and flexible to accommodate your requirements during the entire life-span of your equipment.
We have worked hard to create an efficient service process which can move quickly and accurately to decrease lost-production time. Our parts/service department strives for Same Day or Next Day Shipment. Our technicians are always available to make recommendations and offer the latest technology to ensure that your machine continues to pay for itself again and again. Whether it is a standard install/ routine maintenance & training or a special request; our service department will assist your specific needs in a time-efficient, cost-effective manner.

The Erdman Story

Rodney Erdman founded Erdman Automation Corp. in November of 1993. The original site of operations was a 36 by 48 ft. unheated pole building on the Erdman farm 5 miles NE of Princeton, Minnesota. Since 1993, Erdman Automation Corp. has averaged one facility expansion every 18 months. With the current addition to Erdman's Main plant, Erdman has now reached a total of 114,000 sq. ft.

While employed at other companies, Rodney Erdman created a name for himself and several of his co-workers as designer and builders of quality special machines and complete turn key systems/lines. Their diverse backgrounds included designing and building equipment to process, manufacture or assemble a wide variety of products. The equipment designed and built by the Erdman group included everything from but not limited to the following; toys, telecommunication electronics, hearing aids, pharmaceuticals, computer components, laser and tig / mig welding machines, knifes, packaging, windows, doors, etc.
